In the morning (very early in the morning), I'm heading off for a little Spring Fling adventure, so blog posting may be limited until I return. I'm taking a computer & should have wi-fi, but I may be a bit too busy having fun to sit down and actually use it. Don't worry, I'll have … Read more
We had supper this weekend at a favorite restaurant in Czech Village ~ Parlor City Pub & Eatery (while everything we've tried has been delicious, we would recommend the Frips (a combination of fries & chips) with French onion dip … and the pizzas are delicious too). My step-dad was the cleverest Easter egg hider … sometimes we would still find the candy-filled plastic eggs days after the holiday (we never hid real ones just for that reason). I also remember hosting the annual Easter Egg Hunt for our city as a member … Read more

I finally took the time to go through the rest of the free classes from my Jessica Sprague Photoshop class. I love learning new techniques to help improve my photos, and her videos are a wonderful way to learn. The first lesson was adding type to photos that coordinates with colors in the photo (I chose … Read more
It finally feels like Spring has arrived in Iowa. We had nice rains this week, which really made the plants happy. I've been enjoying all of the variety of colors in my yard. The rains almost finished the peonies, but there are still bursts of beautiful colors. I also bought a vining cherry tomato plant at … Read more
