A Hobo Goes to Arizona

As those of you who have followed my blog know, we have a long-standing tradition of taking silly pictures for my sister when we travel (if you're a true glutton, you can also see Charlie Poppit & Brenda Walsh Returns to the Midwest).  This year for Christmas, my sister gave my husband the Urban Dictionary Calendar.  One … Read more

Stamp Shopping with Gran

I'll have lots more vacation pictures to follow, but the first ones I edited were from our final day in Arizona that I spent with my Gran.  She and I had a fun morning checking out several of the local stamping and scrapbooking stores. Our first stop was Scrap Happy Sisters in Glendale.  It was … Read more

Not So Sure About Santa

I had to share the cutest holiday picture of my nephew.  I love the fabulous moment that the photographer captured … the twinkling eyes and smile on Santa's face contrasted with Aaron's uncertainty about the entire Santa experience.  Priceless.

Free X-Mas Smooches

We had a nice, relaxing day at my mother-in-law's home with lots of good food and conversation.  I had some fun trying out my new camera lens as a warm-up for our big family gathering on Sunday.  I snapped a close-up shot of my favorite Opus Christmas ornament.

Holiday Photo & Holiday Cheer

Birthday Party

Brenda Walsh Returns to the Midwest

Whenever we go on vacation, we always take silly pictures for my sister (see the Poppit on Vacation).  This post is for her. When I mentioned to my sister that we were going to be visiting Minneapolis on our trip, she said "that’s where Brenda Walsh is from" (recently, my sister has been overdosing on … Read more

Weekend Recap

My sister and I had a wonderful long weekend in Kansas City to celebrate her birthday. On Friday, we spent the day at Worlds of Fun riding roller coasters.  I held out for the morning, but after lunch, she rode the Mamba (her favorite), while I sat in the shade and did lots of people … Read more

Color Me Happy

I finished up a couple more of my projects from Inspired.  This project was from a mini-class called Color Me Happy taught by Netalia Riggle, a local scrap-booking instructor.  It’s one of those projects that took much longer to assemble than it did to actually decorate. The base is empty ribbon spools on dowels.  The … Read more
