We had supper this weekend at a favorite restaurant in Czech Village ~ Parlor City Pub & Eatery (while everything we've tried has been delicious, we would recommend the Frips (a combination of fries & chips) with French onion dip … and the pizzas are delicious too).
Inside, they had the rescued Czech American Gothic Statue (Czech Village was severely damaged during the 2008 summer flooding here), so we had to get a photo. The Overalls All Over Exhibit, where they dressed the Grant Wood American Goth statute in all sorts of different attire and displayed them around town, was one of my favorites.
