Lauren & I (aka the Jingle Belles) are thrilled to be the Guest Elves at the Christmas Kickstart Challenge where the theme is – A Friend is for Life and Not Just Christmas. This seems rather appropriate since our cardmaking friendship started over 18 years ago.
I decided to use the Festive Friday Card Challenge for World Photography Day to design my friendship themed holiday card card using Film Strip, Black & White (photo, background & frame) and Frame as my three elements.
I started with the 49 and Market Film Strip and then found the perfect black & white friend image from the Tim Holtz PhotoBooth ephemera.
I paired them with cozy knitted paper from KaiserCraft Frosted paper collection. I used two Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Notched Rectangle dies to cut my frame from one of the black & white papers and attached it with foam tape for dimention over my photo. I cut my two friendship sentiments from another paper and used foam tape to attach them. I finished with some enamel dots.
