STAMPlorations has released their new STAMPlorations Party & Wishes pair … gorgeous birthday ephemera paired with a fun two stamp set.
I laid all of the ephemera out and moved them around until I decided to pair the big balloon bouquet with this yummy piece of chocolate cake with white frosting.
I positioned them on top of one of the STAMPlorations Junk Journal Collage A2 card fronts. I loved how it looked, but then I struggled with how to incorporate the sentiment … vellum to the rescue. I stamped it in black ink on a piece of vellum, clear embossed, and die cut with a circle to join the balloons.
I love how it turned out. I’m linking-up at the Try It on Tuesday: Make it Colourful Challenge and at the Simon Says Monday Challenge: Happy Birthday.
For the second card, I paired a STAMPlorations Party & Wishes Cupcake with another STAMPlorations Junk Journal Collage A2 card front. This time I stamped the definition stamp from the set multiple times on the background before attaching my cupcake and sentiment with foam tape for dimension.
There were some black dots on the background, so I finished by adding a scattering of black enamal dots in two sizes to create little clusters.
