Beautiful Backgrounds is the August Challenge at Pinkfresh Studios.
I went through my collection of designer papers and pulled out ones that had the colors in the challenge palette. I used the Pinkfresh Studio Colorblock Stripes Die to cut each of the papers into thin strips.
I used a scrap of thin cardstock and angled the strips until it was covered, then I trimmed it down to my card size (I used a 4 1/2″ wide piece and trimmed it down to 4″).
Next I went through all of my Pinkfresh Stickers and ephemera and pulled out more elements in the challenge color palette … this card makes me happy.
