One of the fun projects we did at Alabama Art Camp was make Paper Dolls from Playing Cards (inspired by Mini Mad Things).
For my fancy lady, I added some washi tape shoes, heart embellishments and her own purse.
And for the gentleman, he got some washi tape gloves as well as a heart on his fancy hat.
And since I had all of those remaining playing cards, I decided to use them for the ATC August at Mini.Collage.Collective.
For the first Ordinary prompt, I looked around my studio and saw this “Ordinary” mess that always accumulates by my paper cutter at the end of the weekend of creating.
I picked up lots of scraps and used them to build my “Ordinary” ATC Collage.
I’m pretty happy with how it turned out.
For Day 2 Hidden, I decided to use a scrap of paper and strong tape to build a pocket on my ATC to hide something inside.
I found this image in an August 1950 copy of Popular Science. The words cute from the tutorial give you an idea what is “hidden” inside.
I have a lot of travel in August, but hopefully I can get a few more ATCs done to join the fun.
