There are lots of things to love about Paula Cheney's tag #7 in the 12 Tags with a Feminine Twist.
I loved the inky holly background with the tall vertical focal point. Unfortunately I don't have the present die cut or anything to approximate it, so I looked for something else in my stash that would have a tall vertical feel getting smaller as you move to the top to make room for a sentiment on the side … and this glittery gnome gift tag was the perfect solution.
I stamped the Hero Arts Holly Flourish background twice in a combination of green & turquoise inks to cover the tag. Then I spritzed a few times with Dragonfly Glimmer Mist.
I attached my gnome with foam tape for dimension. I had to trim the top of his hat a bit to fit, so I replaced the pom pom with a Pebbles crystal candy dot. I finished with a sentiment from Crafter's Companion Falling Snowflake.
That Santa is adorable! That background is a beautiful background for him.
