I decided to give the Paper Crafts Color Play challenge a try. Man, those were some tough colors to combine & to photograph. Every time I look at a card by Dawn McVey and the way she is able to perfectly balance & combine colors, I am amazed. I think my strength is in combining patterned papers rather than solids.
This great vintage image is from Red Lead (I shouldn't have clicked through … so many more I'd love to add to my collection).
To do the corners, I turned my Martha Stewart border punch upside down and positioned the corner of the paper in the center. I love the effect (and getting more uses out of one punch). The sketch is this week's CPS.
Very pretty Stef! I love the image you used, and the colors are great! Thanks for joining us at CPS this week!
