My favorite time of the week is Sunday morning … hanging out with my husband watching CBS Sunday morning, catching up on blog reading, and creating in my studio (yes, I am a multi-tasker).
This morning I decided to tackle Dawn's color challenge and combine it with Julee's Mojo Monday Sketch and the Hero Arts challenge to create a card with the them Friendship and Valentine. I love the card, but after the fact, wish I'd used colored pencils for the leaves rather than the glitter pen for a bit softer yellow.
Stamps used are all Hero Arts – Wavy Leaf Pattern, Clouds, Flower Wood Background, and Anytime Messages. The Wavy Leaf was stamped in Aqua Mist Ink on Aqua Mist paper. The Flower Wood Background was stamped in Dark Chocolate, clear embossed, painted with Aqua Mist ink and a glitter pen. I finished with some Mint Memory Box Pearls which match the Aqua Mist perfectly.
