I got new STAMPlorations goodies in the mail, and I had to drop everything and use this fabulous STAMPlorations Memphis Cool Pocket Backdrop paper. I adore that color combination and those super-cool circles.
I paired it with the new STAMPlorations Expressions: Dream Stamp … I love that it’s actually two stamps, so you can fill in the letters or leave them open. I wanted it to be just slightly off, so it gave that Mid-Century Modern screen printing look that I particularly remember from children’s books.
This card came together super-quick and easy by adding a golden card base; framing the stamped sentiment in red and popping it up with foam tape; and finishing with some red/gold pearls. Ta-daaa…
Next I wanted to try cutting the STAMPlorations Memphis Cool Pocket Backdrop in half for two cards. I paired it with the perfectly shaded light grey card base.
Similar recipe with the double framing, but this time I stamped the “dream” in red and added red enamel dots. I like the two hue color combination, but I really miss the smoky blue.
The other card got all of the blue and only a tiny peek-a-boo of gold. I positioned this sentiment at the bottom with foam tape and finished with enamal stars.
I just love the clean, modern design of these cards … and one has already gone in the mail (I challenge you to mail at least one card this week).
