The new challenge at Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers is R is for Rainbow.

Since we’re all about “two birdsing” as we call it at our house (always trying to accomplish two things with one activity … for example walking-up the stairs for exercise while you take up items that needs to go upstairs), I also incorporated one of my favorite Sweat Treats for the Seize the Birthday Challenge.

I picked-up these fun birthday die cuts on our vacation, so I paired them with some fun rainbow paper and a very old Spellbinders Die Cut to keep them from getting lost in that busy background (purchased 10+ years ago when they were behind the locked door at the big name craft store & I would use my 40% off coupon to build my stash).

I added some Honey Bee Ombre Pearl Stickers, which were the perfect rainbow embellishment. And of course the perfect snarky sentiment from Anything But Basic Birthday Wishes by My Favorite Things (I sure wish Lisa Johnson would design stamps again … her LinkedIn profile still shows her as retired). This is pretty much my birthday card to me …

Rainbows and cake are 2 of my favourite things – so a rainbow cake….perfection 🙂
Thanks for playing along with Edna and the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers!

Thanks for getting the party started for us at SoSS, Stef! What a fab card – I always like to mix cake with cake… and then possibly some gin. Jo x
