Usually after I travel, it takes me a while to get back into the creative groove. However, today the rain is really putting a crimp in my usual multi-mile Sunday walk, so thankfully the creativity is flowing in the studio.
When I saw the current Inspired By … Fish Challenge, I was really drawn to the sketch, so I starting thinking about fish swimming amongs Gelliart Print rectangles of water. Then I remembered I picked-up some fun puffy googlie-eyed fish stickers on our trip, and a card was born.
I positioned the strips of GelliArts prints on a woodgrain paper background inspired by the photo.
The sentiment from Hero Arts Well Preserved Stamp & Cut was perfect for the layout and for an upcoming card I needed to get in the mail.
I finished by adding a birthday hat sticker to one of the fishes.
