Man’s Best Friend

The new Challenge at Shopping Our Stash is Man’s Best Friend – creating a card featuring an animal one might keep as a pet.

Growing-up, our pet was a black and white beagle named Snoopy. She was an incredible partner. I particularly loved having her run beside me as I rode my bicycle around the two blocks I was allowed to venture too. She stayed up with me … unless she spotted a rabbit, and then she was gone. There were also many times I had to go bail her out of the dog pound.

So I thought it only appropriate to create a Snoopy Card in her honor. I stamped, die cut and colored my images and attached them with foam tape to my landscape. I stamped the sentiment directly in the sky. The clouds are one of the oldest die sets that I have in my stash (likely close to 25 years when die cuts were first being made and had a clear acetate-like cover attached to the thin metal frame).

I added Snoopy’s other friend Woodstock flying in the cloud filled sky.

We can wait to see your best friend in our gallery.

And We Love Stamping is also celebrating Creatures Great & Small, so you can link-up there too.
