Spring Has Sprung

I was working on cleaning my studio (is that a task that will ever be complete), and I found a package of Bo Bunny Tuxes and Tiaras Washi Tape that was unopened. So, as I often do when my plan was to clean … I stopped and made a card instead.

I keep all of the card challenges in my blog reader, and sometimes one is rolling around in my head, so I’ve got to make something inspired by it. I Love the flowers and butterflies in the current TGIF Challenges.

It’s supposed to be in the eighties today, which is just crazy. I’m sure there will be more snow before it’s done, but for today it is certainly Spring (which means I have absolutely no excuse not to go for an outdoor run).

I applied the washi tape at an angle on a piece of lightweight cardstock and then I trimmed the edges to attach it to my card front.

Also on my table were the K&Company Natural Butterfly stickers that I have used on several recent cards. I chose the yellow and orange ones inspired by the photo to complete this design.

The sentiment was from one of the event stamp sets that also needs to find a home (I never quite know how to store those sets that aren’t available for purchase).

I’m also joining the new Pick 3 Challenge with Text, Wings & Stripes.

It’s also the Joy of Spring at the Papercraft Challenges and It’s Springtime at the Sparkles Monthly Challenge Blog.
