Tremendous Trios

This week at Jingle Belles we’re still making cards that feature three of something … and being the over achiever that I am, I have 3 threes in my design that is an homage to my Grandma.

When we were little, she had a desk in front of one of the windows in her living room. It was always filled with colored paper forms that she rescued from the recycling at the Shoe Factory where she worked. There were also lots of stamps and stickers that a wide range of charities had to sent to her … and the best thing was that we were free to play with any and all of it … and it was the best.

So today, I used some vintage holiday greetings stamps from the National Wildlife Federation that I got from my delightful mother-in law and designed my card around three of them. I positioned them on top of a strip of S&H Green Stamps which are also a Grandma memory.

Next, I added two trios of enamel dots … and finished with a three word Tim Holtz label sentiment (because you know my super-cool grandma had one of those label makers too).

And with all of that great krafty space I left in the design, I’m linking-up at the Simon Says: Clean and Simple Challenge.
