At our home, winter sports aren’t ones played outside, but instead the sports played inside. This card celebrates the three sports we watched yesterday.
I decided to challenge myself to use shades of blue for the Inkspirational Challenge, and I loved how it turned out. I don’t know if you can tell, but I even used textured cardstock with the Spellbinders Sporting Goods Dies for the texture on the balls. I added more textured ball embellishments to finish the design.
It’s also a Blue & White Challenge at Color Hues: Color Challenge, so I’m joining them too.
For a bit more visual interest, I added textured embossing to the white cardstock panel (it’s a striped diamond pattern … source unknown after having 25+ years of supplies in my studio).
