This month is the final Lunar New Year Challenge, so I knew I had to use the final Snake product I purchased for 2025 – the Lovely Layers Curious Critters from Honey Bee Stamps. I used four different colors of olive cardstock for my snake and then added some ink blending on top to try to bring out the texture from the die cuts.
Since my snake is green, I decided to go with red and green for my color palette for a non-holiday entrant into We Love Stamping Challenge.
It’s also Red & Green at The Male Room.
I used a layout from Sketch~n~Scrap Blog, but of course after I committed to that, I realized I didn’t have a Happy Birthday sentiment from Honey Bee Stamps, so I had to do some stamp surgery to make it work. The stamped Birthday is from Blah Blah Blah and the Happy was cut from the Honey Bee Stamps Big Birthday.
