Pumpkin Pie Birthday

I’m thrilled to be the Surprise Party Guest at the newest challenge at Seize the Birthday – Favorite Fall Treat.

Honestly, I love Pumpkin Pie not just in Fall, but Fall is the time of year I don’t have to bake my favorite fall treat myself. Then again, who am I kidding, I mostly love Pumpkin Pie because it’s the perfect vehicle for lots and lots of Cool Whip. I must have both with a very high Cool Whip ratio.

My card features a full pumpkin pie and several pie slices (all with Cool Whip) from Doodlebug Design Inc. Bake Me Happy Shape Sprinkles.

I used a layout from Try A Sketch on Tuesday with my Hero Arts Hexagon Infinity Dies. Designer paper is Whimsy Stamps Retro Vibes, and sentiment is My Favorite Things Anything But Basic Birthday Wishes.

I finished with lots of little hearts from the same Shape Sprinkles, which has me linking-up at the Cut It Up Challenge to add Embellishments.

  1. I very much admire your take on this challenge. I do love pumpkin pie as well but only seemed to make it in the fall. I also love that you loaded up with Cool Whip. It was a great idea to display these wonderful papers all in fall colors behind your slices of pie. Really nice job.

  7. I love your cute pumpkin pie card, Stephanie! While I’m not a fan of pumpkin pie, it’s one of my hubby’s favorites and I make two every Thanksgiving. One for him to keep at home and one we share with family. And he’s all about the Cool Whip too! lol Thanks for sharing with us at Try a Sketch on Tuesday!
