Our newest prompt at Jingle Belles is Something OLD and Something NEW. We are asking you to use some of those new items you got for Christmas (or maybe you were your own Santa … whatever works) together with older items from your stash.
I bought myself the Christmas Gift Tag Stack Stamps & Coordinating Dies from LDRS Creative Designs, which allows you to stamp & die cut six tags all at once (and I just discovered there are other tag sets … might need to gift myself more stamps). I inked it up with navy ink, which I thought worked for most of the images.
Rather than use the three sentiments that were in that stamp set, I chose the tiny sentiments from Tim Holtz Christmas Cartoons in my stash. I love how they all have the same font, which helps tie the three different designs together.
I added red cord to my tags for a pop of color and then added a red Love from Lizi Peel-Off sticker I bought at Junkiefest 2019 (how has it possibly been that long) to pull the red together.
I'm also joining My Time to Craft Challenge where the them is to use something New from your Stash.
The trio of tags makes for an interesting layout on your Christmas card! It’s fun to mix new items with older items even a product that’s only 4 years old or so! Cute! Thanks for sharing at MTTC!
