Bookish Birthday

I love libraries … our library was my sacred place when I was young.  I loved the sounds, smells and the feel of the book spines beneath my fingers.  I often did judge books by their covers as I chose my allotment for the week.

So of course, I have a collection of book-related stamps including these from Technique Junkies … which are perfect for a birthday card for a fellow bibliophile.

I stamped the Books Background in VersaFine CLAIR Verdant (because I always associate green with the library) and then stamped the ATC Library Card (I always read all the names of the people who had read the book before me … and marveled at the various dates that told the history of the book (I have the Library Stamp on my wish list) in Pinecone ink.

I added a few clear stickers and a sentiment from Technique Junkies Bookworms in Rain Forest Ink.
