They Say It’s Your Birthday

AlYep … today is my birthday … one of the big ones. 

 

I like to think that it's World Cardmaking Day just for me.

So to celebrate, I'll be mailing a flat rate box of goodies (stamps, paper, washi tape, and lots of other goodies) to one lucky blog reader.   I'll draw a winner on Friday evening.

This year I had homemade yellow cake with milk chocolate frosting … just like my Grandma used to make.

    I like coconut cream pie for my birthday “cake”. But rarely get it it anything. Unless I make it! LOL. Once in a while they surprise me!

  14. HAPPY BIRTHDAY! My birthday is on the 26th! I usually have to make my own cake (or clean up the kitchen after the kids make it). Not sure what I’ll make this year…yellow cake with chocolate is one of my faves (with sprinkles…gotta have sprinkles!) Thanks for the chance to win and join in the celebration of YOU!

    I have to tell you I have a wacky, but awesome friend, that gives gifts on her birthday as well! What’s up with that? lol
    My favourite birthday cake is German Chocolate! It’s divine! Lol I just love chocolate and coconut together.

  18. Happy Birthday!! How cool that it is on October 7th!!!
    My favorite cake is whoopee pie cake. It basically is chocolate cake from scratch, whoopee pie filling in the middle and then home made chocolate frosting on top. I could eat the whole thing it is so yummy!!!

  20. Happy Birthday, Stephanie! I’m afraid I’m no fun when it comes to sharing about birthday cake today – I am currently not eating sugar. But from when I USED to eat sugar, I would have to say my favorite dessert was the vanilla cupcakes my husband makes. He found a recipe in a newspaper which replicated a cupcake from a New York bakery (one near Central Park). Even though I love(d) all things chocolate, this cupcake was simply heaven.     My favorite cake is one my Aunt Stella used to make for birthdays…. chocolate cake with chocolate pudding between the layers, all frosted with a whipped cream frosting! Yum!
