I'm thrilled to be Guest Hostess for the SplitcoastStampers Inspiration Challenge this week. For our Inspiration, we're wandering through Victorian Trading Company.
For my inspiration I chose Hungry Harvey Squirrel Nutcracker.
I didn't have quite the right shades of red to make my Hero Arts Color Layering Squirrel, so I decided to make my Harvey orange.
My MISTI and AlteNew Inks made the layering work perfectly. I found I had the best luck getting things aligned when I stamped the detailed darker stamp, then the outline and finished with the lighter solid piece.
The layout is the Sketch from Try Stampin' On Tuesday. I used some orange Eyelet Outlet enamel dots to finish my design.
