Today's Splitcoast Stampers Inspiration Challenge is Business Cards … I chose this snappy design for my inspiration.
The theme at Shopping Our Stash is *Make a Spectacle of Yourself*, so I added some glasses to the design as well.
If you looked around my studio, you would see at least 10 sets of spectacles. Unfortunately I've reached that age where any close-up work requires reading glasses … so I have them stashed everywhere. For these cards, I started by putting on my spectacles and shopping my stash for cardstock scraps.
I began with the spectacles from Retro Masculine Die cuts by Impression Obsession. Since the IO Challenge theme is Fall Colors, I pulled out lots of orange, green, yellow and brown inks and created my fun background with new Impression Obsession stamps designed by Seth Apter – Solar System & Pattern Play.
I created my fun masculine silhouettes and added a few Tim Holtz stickers for sentiments … such fun and easy cards to create.
