This morning we ventured out on foot to go explore the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden. On our walk, we saw this gorgeous fountain in Loring Park Gardens.
One of the Sculpture pieces was interactive, so I had to give it a try.
The iconic Cherry & Spoon was lovely in the early morning sunlight.
After that adventure, we headed to our first-ever visit to Mall of America. I picked-up my first pair of Dr. Marten's. Although I really wanted the Blue Willow pattern, I went with the Grey Python because they fit better.
Next stop was Ikea, which was right next to the mall. I wanted to pick-up another Raskog for my studio. I talked myself into getting the practical grey one, since it would be more visible than the teal one I have tucked under my studio table at home. However, when we went to pick-it-up from the shelves, the grey was sold out (apparently there are way too many practical people in the world) … so another pretty blue one is coming home with me.
We ended our day with an amazing supper at the Butcher & the Boar. We enjoyed house-made pickled vegetables and an heirloom tomato salad to start. We shared the sausage platter and caramelized broccoli for our main meal. And we finished with an amazing PB&J Baked Alaska.
What an awesome day in Minneapolis.

Fun to see parts of your trip. I like the spoon/cherry art work and that dessert looks delicious.
