When I saw my friend Joan (aka Dear Paperlicious) was the Muse at the Muse Challenge this week, I decided to drop everything and play along. Here's here fantastic design.
I knew I wanted to frame with a golden patterned paper (because that's something I normally wouldn't do) and I knew I wanted layers. I went searching for a pretty birthday image … and took a left turn at some fun Monsta stickers.
I off-set my layers, because I thought having a bit more black show worked with the bold Monsta Mustache. I finished with a chipboard sentiment and a few sequins… because seriously, if you're out with this guy, you know it's going to be fun.
What can I say … you never know where the Muse is going to take you.

Saw your comment on Joan’s FB page and had to come right over! Definitely a different feel, but still clearly inspired! So glad you joined us at Muse this week, Stef!
Fabulous card! Love all the layers yet it still feels CAS!
I LOVE how you were inspired…super FUN!
I had no idea what you meant by monsta, I thought it was a typo. But now I know! This came out fantastic. I am honored that you played in the challenge this week.
Love your interpretation of the MUSE. Your monster is hilarious and the sparkle and sequins are just the perfect touch for this fun card. Cheers!
