We love to celebrate Earth Day at Jingle Belles by creating cards made with recycled or repurposed materials.
When I saw these gorgeous metallic opalescent trees on a Christmas Card from last year, I new they were too pretty not to be given a second-life on a new holiday card.
I trimmed the tree panel from the front of the card and added a warp of Not Quite Navy ribbon and an SRM Sticker sentiment along the right side. I mounted my panel using foam tape to a navy card front incorporating the Polar Hues from the Christmas Card Challenge.
They are also Getting Bluesy at 'Tis the Season.
The layout is this week's Tall & Skinny sketch from Deconstructed Sketches (I flipped the sketch on its side, so it's more Long & Lean).
We hope you'll look around your home and find some fun things to recycle, up-cycle or repurpose with us at Jingle Belles.

Holy frijoles! I’m so glad you saved these trees from an untimely death because this card is Ah-mazing. It’s shiny and I am so in love with your layout.
Stephanie, your recycled card is gorgeous! Love that it’s not the normal size and shape too. Thanks for sharing with us at ‘Tis the Season.
