It's World Card Making Day … so of course, I'm making cards.
I started with the awesome Sketch Challenge at Butterfly Reflections (if you haven't shopped at her store, you should … great selection & service and free shipping with $60 purchase). She loves diagonal stripes … I love them too.
I couldn't resist this new Whale Stamp from Hero Arts … my sister & I love whales, so I always think of her when I find fun whales to create with. I also found this Pebbles New Arrival paper in my stash, which I thought was perfect since the whales are swimming in multiple directions.
I used glitter paper for my central stripe (backed with navy cardstock) and then added two punched borders that I thought felt a bit like waves. A pearl flourish water spray and sticker sentiment finished the design.
