The March Gallery Challenge at Paper Crafts & Scrapbooking Magazine is Mint and Melon. Mint is a tricky color for me … I've never found a true Mint ink, so I had to do a little searching on how to create Mint using the colors of ink I do have (I followed frosting color instructions and combined grass green, a little yellow and a touch of blue). Thankfully I did have a few sheets of mint cardstock in my stash.
The layout is this week's My Favorite Things Weekly Sketch Challenge that I flipped to work with my sentiment from DC Vertical Sentiments. I added a bit more texture with the Darice Basketweave Embossing Folder and finished with some mint green gems.
Love how the circle draws the attention towards the sentiment 🙂
