Crafter's Companion released some new Embossabilities Embossing Folders today. My card features the design called Deco Swirl.
The folder has both a positive and negative swirl, as well as a wavy dividing line that produces such unique texture. I embossed it on Core'dinations Kilt Green Vintage Textured Cardstock and then started sanding and inking (with green & white inks) until I got the shading and contrast I wanted.
My colors are inspired by this week's Curtain Call Challenge Perfectly Peach … Peach is so springy and fun. My sentiment from Sentimentals Imagine Set was stamped in peachy chalk ink and punched out (I love these artsy circular sentiments).
My embossed panel is sprayed with New Sprout Fireworks Spray … it's so hard to capture the fantastic golden glimmer this spray gives as you move the paper in the light … here's the exact same panel I used on my card photographed from another angle … don't you love it!
My final step was to add some lime green bling … this card feels so Springy to me.

The layout is last week's Freshly Made Sketch.

I love all this yummy texture! Even the sentiment seems to make me want to reach out and touch it! Thanks for playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches!
