We're still focused on RED at Jingle Belles this week. When I was searching through my RED Christmas stash I found this gorgeous discontinued piece of SEI Winter Song Paper … all of the red elements are actually flocked, so it's soft and fuzzy to the touch. I'm sure that's why I bought it years ago, and then never could figure out quite what to do with it … until now.
I positioned my cuts on the 12" paper, so that the bird would be the focal point of my 5" x 6.5" card. Next I cut out a few of the flocked snowflakes from the trimmed bits and attached them with glue dots for dimension. I finished with a blue pearl and SRM Quick Cards/Peace Sticker Sentiment.
I also took some inspiration from the Inspiration Photo at Festive Friday.
And since this paper has been in my stash for many years, I'm also joining the Clear It Out Challenge where the theme is also *Red*. And the theme at Addicted to Stamps and More is Holidays.
