My card for this week's SCS Inspiration Challenge was inspired by this gorgeous Feather Table Runner by Michele Varian.
I stamped two different feathers from Sheena's Falling Feathers in Memento Luxe Sweet Plum & Gray Flannel inks (love how these new mixed media inks stamp). Next I used an orange colored pencil to add highlights.
I made a 4" x 8" card to mimic the long feel of the table runner and added grey cardstock borders. I finished with a sentiment from Sheena's Peaceful Lakeside and a few orange gemstones.

Saw your card on SC this a.m. and comments. Nice use of FAB fall colors and I like the feather stamp and design. I never make cards that size. I should give it a go. 🙂

(tho having just seen a doc on the eagles, if i had to choose a band less likely to experience “peaceful easy feelings” it might well be they (them?) (no, i think it *IS* they) (probably). SELDOM have a group of guys and a body of work had less in common, lol!)
