I had some time this morning to have a little digital fun. When I saw Jocelyn's digital card at the CASE Study Challenge, I wanted to see if I could create a digital butterfly background too.

I decided to use the colors from The Play Date Cafe and my digital Flutterbies digital stamps from Hero Arts.
I modified the black butterflies by colorizing them in Photoshop using the colors from the PDC challenge. Next I just started layering, resizing and rotating until I got a background that made me smile … and hit the print button.
I framed my background using coordinating Burgandy cardstock (although it looks much darker in the photo) and finished with a stamped sentiment from Hero Arts Sending Smiles Messages.
I had so much fun with this technique … so easy to produce a colorful background.

Wow! How cool is this?!! Love what you’ve done with PDC colors. And you are so talented with those digis. I don’t think I could do that in a million years. So glad you did! Great card. Happy 4th.
