Cardstock Christmas

This week at Jingle Belles we're asking you to step away from the designer paper … yes, just put it down and walk away.  We want to see creations that only feature Cardstock … you can ink it, spray it, fold it, emboss it, or just go clean & simple … but the focus is on Cardstock.

When I hear Cardstock, I think … INK … ink, ink and more ink.  I started by stamping these Ornate Snowflakes in Versamark ink on white cardstock & clear embossing.

Next I sprayed on Frost & Dragonfly Glimmer Mist for all over color & sparkle.  The same snowflake was inked with Peacock Feathers Distress Ink and stamped on the blue sprayed paper before embossing & detail cutting.  I attached it with a 3-D glue dot and added a pearl.

I finished with a Peel-Off sticker sentiment & snowflake on another scrap of the over-sprayed paper (I always stamp in the middle of a full sheet of paper, so I have inky edges to use in my design).

Can't wait to see what you create.

  2. Simply gorgeous. I’ve recently discovered Dylusions sprays, so I’m really liking your & Lauren’s posts showing white c/s all dolled up. Really liked reading how you created this beautiful card. Gotta try this…so very inspiring. TFS
