When I saw this week's Moxie Fab World Tuesday Trigger … Magical Magnolias … I immediately thought of my favorite spring flower … the Dogwood (the state tree of Missouri … and harbinger of Spring).
I stamped Hero Arts Dogwood in Lime Pastel Chalk Ink and then again in Rouge Chalk Ink to fussy cut the flowers & blooms. I used pink shimmer chalk to shade the petals of the blooms & lime colored pencil on the centers.
I used this week's I {heart} sketches layout swapping the circles for my Die-Namics Fancy Flourishes. Since I'm still building my mother's day card stash, I used the *fabulous* sentiment from Hero Arts Live & Laugh … perfect for the Just for Her Challenge at Hero Arts this month.
So pretty!!
