Have I mentioned how much fun I'm having at the 12 Tags of Christmas with a Feminine Twist … loving it! I usually do most of my creating on the weekends, so it's been fun having a few weeknight creative projects for the holidays. Tonight's tag is inspired by Teri Anderson's Day 6 fun Twine Tree Tag.
My inital plan was to make a variation of the twine trees, but as I was going through my twine collection, I saw my rolls of washi tape and my washi holiday trees were born.

After covering chipboard with rows of washi tape, I trimmed my trees & then decorated them with bling flourishes and shimmery stars. I used Teri's layered landscape method with shimmery white cardstock & finished with an SRM Christmas Sticker Sentiment. I punched the reinforcement for my tag from some of the leftover washi covered paper.
Here's Teri's inspiration tag:

I'm also joining the Christmas Themed Gift Tag Challenge at Party Time Tuesday.
Gorgeous trees! You did a fabulous job with your bling!
Love your version of Teri’s trees Steph! they look wonderful in the washi tape and rhinestone flourishs!
Love your tag!
You are so clever. I was trying to make washi tape trees and they were a wrinkled mess, currently abandoned on my side of the table. Applying the washi first and then cutting – brilliant.
Love your tag. It came up super cute.
Fabulous trees Stef! I am absolutely blown away by how straight your rhinestones are! Please don’t tell me that they are stuck on individually!
Clean and simply beautiful 🙂
So great!!!!!!!! Love those trees and the use of the washi tape!!
Thanks for your blog visit 🙂
