This morning I did some serious purging in my studio … I can't keep adding new goodies, without moving out some of the old. By the time I was finished reorganizing my stamping drawers, I had three medium flat rate boxes brimming with artful stamping goodies.

My favorite thing about Autumn is the smell of fallen leaves and the way they sound when I walk through them.

My favorite thing about autumn is what the Penmaker and I just did… go for a long drive and look at the gorgeous leaves in all their brilliant splendor.

The way the sun’s rays slant down between the leaves of trees….making butternut squash soup and gingerbread….crisp morning air and lacy fog in the morning….family gatherings around a fire….and savoring the changing of the season even though it is rather subtle in southern California.

My very most favorite thing about fall is in the early morning on a mostly gray day when the sun hits the trees and they look like they’re on fire against the dark clouds – GORGEOUS! Oh – and apple fritters! My least favorite is knowing that snow is not far off..
Forgot to mention that I’m oh-so-jealous of your trip to NYC with Lauren – what fun you’ve been having! One of these days I’ll actually be able to leave my house for more than an hour or two at a time…

My favourite thing about Autumn are the crisp mornings and lovely days.
I LOVE the crisp weather! I love going on walks with the kids and we jump on the leaves and have them crunch under our feet.
I love a break from temperatures in the 100’s. I always enjoy your photo trips. I don’t need stamps but would love going through the treasure.
I love the cool crisp air. It is such a relief from the high temps and terrible humidity. I also love crunching the dried leaves.

The thing I love most about fall is wearing sweaters and scarves. I love to pile on the layers and enjoy a Friday night football game or just sit outside and enjoy the crisp air.
Hands down, it’s the turning of the foliage. Breathtaking and it all ends way too soon.

I love Fall, what’s not to love really? 🙂 The weather is not too hot and not too cold, just perfect for you to play dressed up. Here in NY, we don’t get much of this weather, soon, we will be wrapping ourselves in a cocoon 🙂 Halloween, Thanks giving, putting up the tree, decorating the house, making Christmas cards to send out…I love everything about Fall!

My favorite thing about autumn is the gorgeous evoluotion of color that occurs, day to day, right before my eyes! As a “bonus” as the color evolves and the leaves fall, they make a sea of leaves that crunch below my feet, which to me, is the “sound” of fall. 🙂
I love surprises and I love the cooler temps of fall weather. And in Indiana, that happens all the time – together. sometimes hot, freezing and snowing on the same day! I love the comfort foods that come with fall weather too! Thanks for a chance at some goodies!

colours & texture has to be my fave thing about Autumn the trees are alive with lots of colour for a while and the texture is all there in it’s glory. That and food mmm The food changes to crumbles and stew & Dumplings and all manner of warm rustic loveliness ;0)

Watching my husband in the combine harvesting our crops of corn and soybeans knowing all his hard work has paid off. I can’t leave out all the beautiful hues of color everywhere.
My favorite things about fall are the amazing homemade foods that my German family come up with and the crisp air! I’ve always liked it a bit cooler!
What I like about autumn? Notsomuch. I’m a spring gal – rebirth, birds singing, flowers blooming.

My favorite thing about fall is the clothes and the food. We’ve been enjoying beef barley soup, crockpot dishes and lots and lots of baking.
