Here are a few photos I took of my flowers on Sunday … I like to save them to look at when the winter snow & ice returns.
These roses return year-after-year no matter how much I abuse or neglect them.
This little bug was having a grand time on my Astilbe blooms.
And my-oh-my how I love my hydrangea blooms. This year I got a wonderful range of purples and blues on the same bush.

beautiful!
Don’t you love being awakened by the tornado siren? NOT! We didn’t lose power but our tomato plants took a hit from the wind. Our hydrangeas are doing the same thing this year–blue and pink on the same plant!
Stef, I am jealous of your hydrangea blooms…mine always seem to bloom in spurts instead of all at once…any ideas on that? 🙂
