I thought the first challenge at the Lily Pad Cards blog was … challenging. I always seem to struggle when there are more than 3 colors in a color challenge. However, I found what I will call Sherry's "I'm going on vacation & you're not" Sketch, which made it much easier to combine the 5 hues.
I started with another Jingle Bells Glimmer Mist sprayed doily and papers from October Afternoon's Fly a Kite Collection.
I added a vintage Hero Arts sentiment and butterflies punched from the other accent colors. I added a bit of orange sponging to the yellow butterfly to help it stand out a bit more from the patterned paper.
So very glad my Mother's Day card stash is growing.

I love your perfectly fresh take on the Lily Pad Cards color challenge. The frilly doily with the bold polka dots is so fun! Thanks for jumping the “pond” with us!
