Daisy in Fuchsia

Wee Memories is celebrating its 50th Challenge by asking you to create something using your favorite colors.  This card featuring the new stamps from the new Gatsby & Flapper Fashion sets from Artistic Outpost showcases my favorite hues.

I love vibrant colors … especially anything with fuchsia, green & blue.

I inked the lovely Daisy with a softer pink and then darker pinks and reds around the edges.  I love how it makes her face seem cloudy & ethereal.  I added a flower to her hair, which coordinates with the gorgeous background paper from Prima's Madeline collection.

I finished with Hero Arts adhesive lace trim and this sentiment from Flapper FashionsI don't want to live.  I want to love first, and live incidentally.

I'm off to enjoy the gorgeous weather we're supposed to have this weekend … bring on the sunshine.

  1. What a gorgeous retro card! I love the blend of colours you’ve used (and the flower in your lady’s hair!!) Thanks for playing with us at Wee Memories Scrappy Saturday Challenge!
