The ladies at Unscripted Sketches are hosting a Breast Cancer Awareness Blog Hop & added a piggy-back challenge to make PINK the main color of your sketch design.
This week's Color Cue Challenge also features pink, together with white and grey.
I started with pink DP from Basic Grey's Sultry Collection on a grey background. The focal image is one of my all-time favorite stamps from Paper Bag Studios called Laugh … I love her fabulous eyes-closed smile. The image was stamped in Slate Fresh Ink (I love the coverage and relatively quick dry time of this Pigment Ink … it reminds me of ColorBox Chalk inks). I highlighted Live and added blush to her cheeks with pink shimmer chalk.
The fabulous swirl pattern on my circles is from the new Hero Arts Large Swirl Tree stamped in Slate on the pink DP (I love when I can find alternative uses for holiday stamps).
I'm off on a Midwest road trip tomorrow & am planning to blog some travel tales from the road (as well as a few card posts that are already completed).
