Take A Chance

This card came together quickly using scraps of K&Company papers leftover from this card that were still on my work table.  I combined this with this week's Get Sketchy Sketch to do a card for Sue's 52-Card Pick-up Theme of "Don't Give Up".

She talked about the importance of remembering that once you've made a choice, you have to move on down that road and don't look back, because unfortunately, there are no "do-overs" in life.  I thought this sentiment from River City Rubber Works summed that up well … life is just a series of chances taken one after the other after the other.  You have to embrace where you are, learn from where you've been, and move on to the next adventure.

I had two of the chocolate Maya Road Pinwheel Blossoms left over from a previous design project, and I really needed three elements for the schedule, so I died an ivory blossom with Orange Juice Memories Mists and dried it with my heat gun (rubber gloves recommended … a bit messy).  I love how it looks like one of the tropical blooms on the background paper.
