Seriously, how could you not love a company named Mimi the Sardine?? My niece Mehilah is affectionately called Mimi, so I had to use their adorable Hybrid Cars Backpack from the fabulous Oompa website for my inspiration for this weeks SCS Inspiration Challenge.
I loved the fun color combinations on the vehicles & knew I had the perfects stamps that had yet to see ink. When we were in Kohler, Wisconsin during the spring I found this fun French stamp set called Tampominos from Aladine. I knew it would be perfect for fun cards for my nephews.
I stamped my ambulance and fire truck three times on three different primary colors of cardstock. Then I started cutting out the various pieces of the vehicles and combining the colors.
Next I hand-cut the roads from grey cardstock & used my white Inkssentials pen to draw the center lines. I attached it all to a green grass card base & finished with a little Policeman from the set to direct the traffic. I used rub-on letters to create my personalized sentiment.
I hope you find inspiration.
