This month's challenge at the Moxie Fab World Blog is to create a card that incorporates a bicycle in an innovative way. My card is inspired by all of the fabulous letterpress note cards I saw on my weekend trip to Chicago. I love how they utilized white space.
I started with a Fabriano Note Card & stamped the bicycle and sentiment from A Muse Vintage Set in Memories India ink (using this week's CPS Sketch). I added a bit of color to the bike with a Copic Spica glitter pen.
**ETA … I also posted this card for today's TLC at Splitcoast … One Layer Wonder Cards.
I think a set of these would be an awesome gift.
Love it, Stef! I just noticed it on SCS and wanted to tell you that it fits this week’s TLC perfectly!! I just posted the challenge. You should tag this on :). Way to go!
LOL – Steff this is just so cute and clever!!!
Love the white space…I cannot achieve this…lol You did a fabulous job!
oh wow! how simple and totally dramatic! and YES utterly letter-press-looking! ♥♥♥ (& i am not just sayin’ that b/c i could not achieve this if the alternative was setting my head on fire.) (seriously–what talent to stamp SO NEATLY and then STOP!!!) ♥
The clean and graphic feel of this is just amazing…and I am totally loving the distressed edges! Awesome job with CPS 171…thanks for playing!
