Another fun week of discoveries in blogland:
- A great tutorial for making your own Scrabble tile pendants … I can feel some holiday gifts in my future.
- Loved exploring this fun site … 1000 Awesome Things … What's your glue movie? (mine is Breakfast Club).
-
A fun tutorial for a variety of different button flowers. - Decorating with vellum paper mobiles … wouldn't that be fun idea to do in school colors for a graduation party.
- For some reason I've always been intimidated to bake bread from scratch … but I think this fabulous looking Chocolate Cinnamon Babka might make me dive-in and try.
- This Divine Twine is going on my wish list … and I love this fun way to display it that is both beautiful and functional. I love having all of my art supplies in plain view, so I'm always on the look-out for fun ways to show them off.
- I love the monthly post at Gingersnap Creations that gives you lots of reasons to stamp each month … I'm all about National Go Barefoot Day.
- Love the idea of perching some paper pieced birds above a doorway.
- A gorgeous recipe tutorial for making Thai Sweet Coconut Sticky Rice with Mango in Sushi Form … one of my favorite desserts.
- Fed-Ex has a blog ~ Out of Office ~ featuring all sorts fun craft ideas using office supplies, many geared toward those "bored" kiddos on summer vacation (how did we ever find time to do whatever we wanted boring??)
- A fun idea to use decoupage and book illustrations to cover a children's table … wouldn't it be fun to do this with copies of the child's own artistic creations.
- While I love my home studio, I'm always on the look-out for other great storage ideas. Even though this is primarily a quilter's studio, I love how she uses peg board and drawers to keep so many embellishments in view.
Happy Thursday!
love the scrabble pendants! my glue movie (one of them) is napoleon dynamite…as i discovered one night at midnight 😛
My glue movie is “you’ve got mail”.
