Wisconsin Rubber Stamp Stores

I had a lot of fabulous rubber stamp shopping experiences on our recent vacation to Wisconsin.  My first stop was That Scrapbooking Place in Plymouth, Wisconsin.  Unfortunately, we arrived only 5 minutes before the store closed, so I didn't take any pictures, but I did find a great Verses rubber stamp and fun real wood "paper" by Creative Imaginations.

The next store I explored was Creations Galore in Green Bay.  Thankfully I had printed out the specific directions, because it's not a store you would stumble upon.  However, it was certainly worth the stop.

It was a large, open space with a large variety of stamping and scrapbooking products.  The employees were very helpful and friendly.

They even directed my husband to the Man Cave where he could relax and watch TV while I shopped.

I tried to check out Door County Rubber Stamps in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin.  The store website stated they were open year-round, but didn't have any hours posted.  Unfortunately, they weren't open mid-day on Tuesday when we were there.  I should have called ahead.

The next stop was The Stamp Shoppe in Schofield, Wisconsin.  They had a wide variety of stamps, papers, and accessories.  They also had lots of card samples, which I always enjoy.  I found some new Sizzix Embossing folders and stamps from Impression Obsession, Memory Box, Wood-n-Paper Ink, and B&B Rubber Stamps, as well as the newest Catch Up Issue from Stampers' Sampler (where the owner shared that one of her customers, Michelle Pearson, was a "cover girl") … on a side-note, I thought this was one of the best Catch Up Issues ever … love its new format.

Next shopping adventure was at Picture This in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.  They had a very wide selection of both scrapbooking and rubber stamping lines.  They had everything arranged by theme, rather than manufacturer, which always makes me see things differently.

I got to see all of the new Tim Holtz stamps and products in person (I have no problem purchasing online, but sometimes I just like to hold them in my hands … and I love being able to support the brick & mortar stores that are surviving and teaching classes).  Seriously, this is a fantastic space with great displays, samples, helpful staff, and lots of room … they even have a Store Blog.

My final stop was Stamp 'n Hand in La Crosse, Wisconsin.  This is a much smaller space than the previous stores, but she has lots and lots of product in every single corner.  It's one of those stores where you're really going to have to take time to pull out the many stacked boxes and trays to really see all of the product, but it's worth taking the time.

I found new Memory Box, Hero Arts, and lots of great sentiment stamps I hadn't seen before.  I also found several different colors of waxed floss and Stampendous embossing powder sets.  She also shared several samples she was working on for an upcoming class.  I love being able to have discussions about product and techniques with the store owners.  She also shared that Dave from Memory Box will be coming to her store to teach two upcoming classes, so if you're interested, make sure you e-mail her, so you can be added to her e-mail distribution list.

So if you're ever in Wisconsin, there are lots of fun stamping store to add to your trip agenda.
