We have a family tradition of taking silly pictures for my sister when we travel (see A Hobo Goes to Arizona, Charlie Poppit, Brenda Walsh returns to the Midwest, and Who Has Two Thumbs?). For our recent Wisconsin adventure, we were joined by Yolky the Ceramic Egg Separator.
Our first stop was this wonderful Jasen Dane Design Gallery outdoor sculpture garden near Spring Green Wisconsin. At that point, Yolky was beginning to wonder about his safety.
He felt much safer tucked into this piece of drift wood.
Yolky really enjoyed the tour of the Kohler Design Center, especially this amazing overflow tub.
At The Shops at Woodlake, Yolky checked out several possible rides. He liked this retro tricycle.
Although he felt this Sidewalk Cruiser was much more his style.
Rod even found his dream car parked outside the John Michael Kohler Arts Center.
Yolky even made a friend in Door County, although they both seem a bit unsure of each other.
Yolky's final adventure was at the outdoor sculpture garden at the Edgewood Orchard Galleries. He wasn't that amused hanging out in the bird bath.
But he did like his new friend Mr. Fein Goes for a Walk (by Rostislav Yanovsky).
And one last picture for the road … yes, my husband is always game for whatever goofy pictures I want to take … gotta love him.
