Since my husband is a postal carrier, I'm always on the look-out for new "mail" themed stamps to add to my collection. For CardPatterns Sketch 59, I used Stampavie's Love Letter set. I stamped it on blue DP from the Kioshi Collection by Basic Grey and then paper pieced the image with other papers from the collection & white cardstock for the Moxie Fab Paper Piecing Challenge.
When I first started card making, my cards were all pretty much clean & simple designs. I would look at other people's more advanced creations and say to my best card making girlfriend … I'm never going to spend that kind of time on a card. It's so fun to see how far I've come since then & how much I love the meditative process of cutting out all of those tiny pieces putting a design together.
I added a tiny pearl center to my paper-pieced bloom and some glitter pen to the grass & tiny heart on the envelope. The sentiment is Hero Arts A Little Note.
