The prompt for last week's Heart The Art Journal page was Someday … There was a time in my list when my "Someday List" could fill pages. As I thought about this prompt, I realized how blessed I am that so many of my "somedays" have become realities, and how happy I am with my life. However, there's always room for dreaming.
My husband and I love to plan trips & travel. Each year he bids his vacation time in February, and once we know our time off, the planning begins. Unfortunately, I have rather limited vacation time, which impedes our ability to take really long trips. So on our "Someday List" is exploring the globe … but for now we are content to explore the many wonders that the United States has to offer.
I started with a map I received in the mail with a request for a donation (I save any map I get my hands on). I used a glue stick and cut it into several pieces to cover my page. My journaling was printed on light blue textured cardstock using Adler font. I finished with a few Subway Thickers pointing to potential future destinations, a travel quote (Traveling is like falling in love; the world is made new.) and some smaller travel-themed stickers. You can check out the entire Heart the Art Gallery here.
