The Holiday challenge at the Get Sketchy blog is to find something you might normally throw out, and turn it into something magnificent. When I received this gorgeous holiday card, I knew immediately that I wanted to re-purpose it into another card design.
I trimmed the gold embossed panel from the front of the card and framed it with border strips punched from the back of the card. The wreath to frame the sentiment was created by punching multiple branches from the remaining back of the card. I finished with a gold dove punched from another metallic holiday card.
